About Old Wood Farm Barns

Paul & Liz Bean are your hosts at Old Wood Farm Holiday Cottages.

We are located on the edge of the Staffordshire Moorlands National Park (part of the Peak District) and set in an ideal area for exploring the great outdoors. The Southern Peak District and Staffordshire Moorlands are one of Britain's best-kept secrets with fantastic riding, cycling and walks locally.  The Potteries, Ashbourne, Churnet Valley, and Dovedale are all within 12 miles and we are located just 15 minutes from Alton Towers Theme Park.

 

Market towns such as Cheadle, Ashbourne, Leek, Bakewell and Uttoxeter all a short drive away. Two steam railways, historic houses and visitor centres, many industrial museums and potteries all within easy reach.

The nearest shops are in Uttoxeter approximately 2 ½ miles away, the village of Hollington has two pubs both approximately 1/2 mile away.
